Get into the Swing of Recycling at 2008 Toshiba Classic
The 2008 Toshiba Classic is “going green” on the green.
During the three days of professional play at this year’s tournament, Friday, March 7, through Sunday, March 9, Toshiba invites the community to participate in its “Swing for the Green” Toshiba Classic Recycling Event. As part of Toshiba’s commitment to demonstrate a leading role in establishing a sustainable society, this program will provide the community with a free and easy way to responsibly dispose of e-waste. As a thank you, everyone who participates by bringing an item for recycling will receive two free admission tickets good for any one day of the tournament.
Patrons are encouraged to bring their outdated electronic equipment between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day. Products including desktop PCs, laptops, computer monitors, printers, camcorders, fax machines, cell phones, VCRs, DVD players, rechargeable batteries, MP3 players and stereos** can be dropped off at two different locations: the main entrance at the Newport Beach Country Club or the Newport Dunes public parking lot.

Families Save on Admission to 2008 Toshiba Classic During Wells Fargo Family Day

The Toshiba Classic announced today a special discount ticket package for families on Wells Fargo Family Day. On Saturday, March 8, families of four will receive 20 percent off the adult ticket price at the gate and children age 12 and under are free.
