Volunteer Applications for the 2008 Toshiba Classic are no longer being accepted at this time.

2006 Toshiba Classic Volunteers make Daily Pilot Headlines A Volunteer Experience Unlike Any Other

There aren't many volunteer opportunities that enable you to keep score for a golf legend. Or drive a major championship winner to the airport. Or walk 18 holes with a threesome like Tom Watson, Hale Irwin and Tom Kite.

Then again, volunteering for the Toshiba Classic might be the most unique experience in sports. It puts you right in the middle of an official PGA TOUR-sanctioned tournament--and right in the middle of the most philanthropic event of the year in Orange County.

If you're a fan of professional golf, you'll simply never have a better chance to get this close to the action. And even if you're not a golf fanatic, you can play a major role at the Toshiba Classic. There are plenty of volunteer committees that don't require any golf knowledge whatsoever.

Regardless on which committee you serve, you'll be an important part of the most respected volunteer force on the PGA Champions Tour, a team that enables this tournament to make record-setting donations to charity every year.

Join us and you'll experience the camaraderie of working alongside great people, the pride of staging an internationally televised event, and the thrill of making a profound difference in your community.

What are the Requirements of a Volunteer?

All volunteers must work a minimum of two days. However, some committees require more than two days. Please arrive for your shift on time and be sure to alert the tournament if any schedule changes affect your availability.

Why is There a Fee to Volunteer?

  • One jacket with TC logo (mens and ladies styles available)
  • One hat with TC logo for men and visor for women (The retail value of the volunteer uniform is more than $100)
  • Preferred parking during your shifts

  • One week-long badge for admission during the entire tournament (value of $100)
