Breakfast with a Champion
The Breakfast with a Champion, presented by The Allergan Foundation, has become a nostalgic staple of the Toshiba Classic tournament week. The 2014 event will be held Tuesday, March 11 at 7 a.m. The 2014 keynote speaker will be announced at a later date.
The 2013 keynote speaker was 10-time PGA TOUR winner and Champions Tour rookier Steve Elkington. "Elk", as he is known, is one of the greatest characters in the game of golf. He joined a prestigious list of past guests that includes Hale Irwin, Corey Pavin, Lee Trevino, Fuzzy Zoeller, Gary McCord, David Feherty and more.
"Fostering the growth of Orange County's community is something The Allergan Foundation is quite proud to be associated with, and we value the relationships we've built with Hoag Hospital Foundation and Toshiba to make this breakfast happen," said Jim Hindman, president of The Allergan Foundation. "Not only is it a remarkable event to learn about golf's great athletes, but also an opportunity to give back to the area of which we're so fortunate to be a part."
In addition to the special guest, the Breakfast serves as the annual platform to announce the Toshiba Classic Scholarship Fund winners. Two deserving Orange County high school seniors will be awarded $10,000 scholarships and laptops courtesy of Toshiba America Information Systems. Through the Toshiba Classic Scholarship Fund, grants totaling more than $269,000 in scholarships and over $500,000 in laptops have been given to graduating seniors.
Breakfast tables can be purchased for $1,200 and seat 10. Limited number of individual seats are available for $120 (minimum purchase of 2). Please contact the Tournament Office at (949) 660-1001 to reserve your table.
